ShaOlin 808  

Born in China raised in West Auckland, New Zealand now residing in Sydney, Australia. 

Shaolin 808 is known as The Jack of All Trades! He started off his journey scratching on his oldschool belt drive turntables. Once he got his own computer he began producing Hiphop Beats on Cubase and thats where his love for music came from, creating new sounds and vibes. In the early 2K he went to SAE to learn the craft of audio and to become a professional engineer to push his career to the next level.

Since moving to Australia in 2012 he’s developed a passion for Graffiti and Street art. And that’s why ‘The Raw Sydney Collective’ was created! What was meant to be a day out taking photos of graffiti with his daughter turned out to be a new journey of his own RSC. His photography and drone footage has been well praised by his peers and loved by people all around the world.

Last year during the peak of Covid-19 Shaolin 808 started Shaolin Records Apparel. His drive for design and adventure for new challenges took him in a direction of clothing. He’s now created adults and kids garments which has been a reflection of his Hiphop journey he’s had over the last 20 years.

What now for Shaolin 808?? “Trusting the process and enjoying the journey”.
